The European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ESMTB) promotes research and education in the mathematical modeling and analysis of biological systems with a multitude of activities.
ESMTB organizes the biannual European Conferences for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology (ECMTB). In 2005, the ECMTB was hosted at TU Dresden and organized by our department.
ESMTB announces the annual Reinhart-Heinrich Doctoral Thesis Award for the student with the best doctoral thesis in the area of Mathematical and Theoretical Biology.
