Oleksandr Ostrenko

Oleksandr received his BSc. in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine Kiev Polytechnic Institute in 2010 and MSc. in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics from ETH Zurich in 2013.

His PhD project considers modeling of bile transport in the liver at the canalicular level using both analytical and numerical tools. In addition, he develops a computationally-efficient stochastic simulation tool for biochemical reaction networks.

Oleksandr is a member of the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed).
